SCC Adult Social Care provide information on a wide range of equipment, societies and support services for people who are blind, partially sighted or have dual sensory loss. Contact them and they will help you find the right information or put you in touch with one of their specialist social workers. Infosound is an independent registered charity that produces free information, in audio, for vision-impaired (that is, blind and partially-sighted) people on subjects that directly affect living with sight loss. Infosound comprises a broad mix of audio features about products, services and issues affecting everyday living with sight loss in Britain. And these are mixed-in with diary events and general briefings of news and information as well as listeners’ own comments, hints, tips and items of information.
